Woman Killed in 2-Car Accident

A Lomax woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Henderson County on Friday. Police attribute the accident to the weather.
Jessica Beasley, 36, was driving north on Carman Road when she lost control of her vehicle, spinning into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a pick-up truck driven by Brian Nelson, 38, of Macomb.
Beasley was pronounced dead at the scene. Nelson was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.
