The McLean County Coroner has identified Jacob Garber, a 20-year-old student of Illinois State University and resident Morton, was the victim of the early Sunday morning accident involving two vehicles.

At approximately 5 am Sunday morning, rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Mitsubishi Motorway and College Avenue in Normal. The victim was wearing a seat belt and pronounced dead at 6:03 am.

The driver and two people in the northbound vehicle were taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Afterward, police arrested Braiton Holloway, 20, of Bloomington for aggravated DUI. He is being held pending a review of the charges by the McLean County State’s Attorney.
