One Killed, 2 Injured in Lake Forest Accident

Lake Forest Police and Lake Forest Fire responded to a one-car accident on northbound Illinois Route 31 near Westleigh Road at 2:35 am on Thursday, October 10. According to police, the four-door sedan seemed to have been driving northbound when it left the roadway and a bend, hitting several trees before rolling over.

Paramedics evaluated three male occupants, one of whom was found dead at the scene with the other two injured. Both men were transported to local hospitals after being removed from the vehicle and are expected to recover.

The accident is still under investigation, and the identity of the man killed has not been released yet.
