An accident late Wednesday along the Chicago Skyway connecting Chicago’s South side with Indiana involved three vehicles and two semi-trailer trucks. The accident left three vehicles mangled, with one SUV wedged under the rear of a truck. All people involved survived.
At least six people were injured in the accident, with three in critical condition. Two people had to be extricated from their vehicle.According to the Chicago Fire Department, a semi-trailer truck rear-ended a vehicle at 69th Street.
The accident is still under investigation.
