Anti-theft devices

In the State of Illinois, you may get a discount for a number of reasons, including, having an anti-theft device on your vehicle. Examples of these devices are alarm systems and Vehicular Identification Number (VIN).

According to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules of the Illinois Illinois General Assembly, vehicles with anti-theft devices may be granted a discount by their auto insurers. The discount must not be less than 5% in their comprehensive coverage.
