Three children were hit by a car in Englewood early Thursday morning. According to police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada, the accident occurred at South Halsted and West 69th at around 7:30 am.
None of the three children sustained life-threatening injuries, but two were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital for treatment, according to Estrada. Information for the third child was not yet available.
The accident is under investigation and the driver remained at the scene.
