A four-vehicle chain reaction accident on Chicago’s far South Side left nine people hurt, including four police officers. According to authorities, the accident occurred at about 12:30 am on Monday when a car hit an unmarked squad car, which had an SUV pulled over for a traffic stop.

The unmarked car then hit the SUV, which struck a second patrol car at the scene. Eight people were taken to the hospital in stable condition and one refused medical treatment. No charges have been filed.
