Property Damage (PD)

Based on the Illinois Department of Transportation Crash Statistics, personal cars accounted for the most fatalities and injuries in 2018. Consequently, vehicular damages are common during accidents. Liability Coverage pays for two types of separate coverages, namely, Bodily Injury (BI) and Property Damage (PD). Per the Illinois Vehicle Code, PD is at least $20,000 per accident and covers damage to the other party’s vehicle or to properties like fences and poles.
