Truck Lands in Ditch in I-55 Crash, No Injuries

A car hit a semi-trailer truck in the southbound lanes on I-55 near Route 53 on Wednesday. The truck overturned in a ditch, but no one was injured in the accident, according to Illinois State Police Sgt. Martez Malone.

The driver of the car lost control, veered to the right, and hit the truck. The truck driver attempted to avoid impact and overturned as a result.

The accident is still under investigation and the names of the drivers have not been released.
