A man from Chester, IL was hurt Wednesday in a motorcycle accident in Perry County. Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on Highway 51, just north of Perry County Road 210, as 42-year-old David Richardet swerved in an attempt to avoid a vehicle and instead left the right side of the road. Richardet was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained moderate injuries. He was transported to Perry County Memorial Hospital.
