One man was injured in a motorcycle accident on Sunday in White County. According to Illinois State Police, Matthew Robert, 30, of Norris City, was driving along Herald Blacktop north of White County Road 945N when he lost control and ran off the road.

Roberts was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to a hospital in Indiana. His condition is unknown.

Police believe speed was a factor in the accident. Roberts was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, and failing to have insurance.
