Motorcyclist Killed in Northwest Side Accident

Omar Posos, 35, from West Rogers Park, was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a compact SUV in the Edgebrook neighborhood early Thursday morning, according to police. Police responded to Navajo at Devon Avenue at approximately 6:45 am. Posos was declared dead at 7:26 am at Resurrection Medical Center after the accident, according to the Cook County medical examiner.

A 67-year-old man from Skokie was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way at the intersection. The investigation found that the Honda CRV was traveling south on Navajo when it hurt the motorcyclist, who was driving west on Devon
