According to authorities, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene of a traffic crash at about 4 p.m. near the 20700 Block of West Grass Lake Road.

Authorities said that Klinesmith was driving a green 1999 Ford Ranger eastbound on Grass Lake Road. Klinesmith’s car drove into the westbound lane and collided with a red 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, authorities said.

Both drivers were transported to Condell.

The incident remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
