Most, but not all, electrocution accidents involve contact with overhead power lines, typically by farm equipment – such as fold-up cultivators, ladders, antennae, portable grain augers, and tractors which have front-end loaders – and especially when the lines are not insulated. Other common risks include internal wiring in agricultural buildings, defective wiring/extension cords, and exposed underground lines.
