Car Accident Injures 4 in Rock Island

A car accident on Thursday has sent four people to the hospital. The accident occurred at about 2:30 pm at the corner of 25th Avenue and 17th Street near Rock Island High School. According to police, the accident happened when someone ran a red light.

One of the victims had to be cut out of their vehicle, and 25th Avenue was shut down for some time. There is still no word on the conditions of the victims.
