A 34-year-old man from Canton was killed on Saturday when his vehicle overturned on Illinois Route 78 nearly 4 miles south of Farmington. Nathan Watson was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:30 am by Fulton County Coroner Steve Hines. His car rolled over after he drifted into the left lane and over-corrected.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. His car was located near the driveway of 32075 N. Illinois Route 78. According to the coroner, it appeared as if the car had been parked there, as it was found on all four tires, and the accident wasn’t immediately reported because of this. Watson was alone in the car and no other cars were involved.
