Five people were injured in a bus stop accident near 103rd and Michigan in Roseland. It appears the car was the subject of a police pursuit when it struck another car, sending the second car careening into the CTA bus stop.

Five people waiting for the bus were struck. One man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injurie, while four others were taken to nearby hospitals. The victims range in age from 25 to 64.

According to witnesses, the man who caused the accident got out of his car and ran away, although officers caught up with the man.
