5 Car Crash Leaves 11 Injured at Western, Armitage

Eleven people were hurt in a five-car accident early Sunday morning in the Northwest Side Logan Square area. The accident occurred at about 2:15 am close to West Armitage and North Western Avenues, according to Chicago police. Eleven adults were hurt in the accident and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

According to officials, all were in good condition. The accident involved 3 moving cars and two parked cars. According to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, there are pending citations against a driver who attempted a U-turn.
