3-Car Accident Leaves 1 Dead

A three-car accident on October 22 has caused a Bourbonnais man to die of his injuries. According to the Illinois State Police, Ross Bissaillon, 18, was pronounced dead at 2:40 am on October 23 at Riverside Hospital.

The accident occurred at 2:30 pm the day before on US 45/52 at 3300 North Road. According to police, Bissaillon was driving his 2002 Pontiac northbound in the southbound lane. He passed a truck tractor driven by Gary Beggs, 40, which was hauling an intermodal container.

A Dodge pickup truck driven by Hugo Perez, 35, was southbound on US 45/52 when Bissaillon’s car struck his vehicle head on. The trailer of the vehicle driven by Beggs was struck by Bissaillon after it hit Perez’s truck. Both vehicles driven by Bissaillon and Perez stopped in a field and both men were transported to Riverside Hospital with severe injuries.
