A man from Montana was killed Sunday night in a one-car accident in rural Hamilton County. The victim was identified as Robert S. Beesley, 60, of Roundtop, Montana.
According to police, Beesley was driving eastbound on Illinois 142 at the Delafield curve when his pickup left the road and hit a tree. Beesley was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
