A pickup driver was killed and two people in a van were hurt when their vehicles struck in Antioch on Sunday morning, according to police.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 45-year-old man, died after the accident near Eagle Ridge Drive and Illinois Highway 173, according to Antioch Police Sgt. Geoff Guttschow.

The van was driving west on Hwy. 173 and the truck was driving east when the two struck, causing the pickup truck to roll. The passenger and driver of the van were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
