If you or a loved one has fractured a bone from an accident, contact 844 See Mike for a free consultation so we can help you recover from this experience and get fairly compensated.

An ankle fracture occurs when one or more ankle bones breaks or cracks due to a high-energy impact. It is a common injury among kids, and they most commonly break the fibula and tibia. It is helpful to be able to spot it if it happens so that you can seek the appropriate medical attention right away.

A child with an ankle fracture will experience pain, swelling, severe pain when trying to put weight on the injured foot, bruising, tenderness, and a possible deformed appearance in the ankle. If your child just experienced an accident of some kind that hurt their foot, and they exhibit these symptoms (particularly pain putting pressure on the ankle), you should get them to a doctor to evaluate their injury as soon as possible.
